The results showed that nGO incorporation did not affect cell viability but caused a delay in cell proliferation. Additionally, 10 metabolites were found to have noticeable changes in cells incorporating nGO sheets, including decreased levels of amino acids, taurine, and creatine, and increased levels of phosphocholine and uridine/adenosine nucleotides. After NIR irradiation, cells exhibited further changes in the levels of glutamate and uridine nucleotides, as well as glycerophosphocholine and adenosine monophosphate. These findings demonstrate that the cellular metabolome is sensitive to nGO exposure and nGO-mediated hyperthermia, and NMR metabolomics is a powerful tool for investigating treatment responses.
